New Dress, Last Minute Stuff and a Dream

Only 68 days left before I go!

This weekend I went on the hunt for a perfect dress for travel and I found one! It's bright blue and brown and and works with a camisole, long sleeve shirt or my brown Eddie Bauer pants underneath, so it's versatile if it's warm or if it's cold! It's just past knee length and kind of covers my shoulders, so with a cardigan on, it would work for going in churches (where you usually need to have your shoulders and knees covered).

Last night, I went to Target, Walgreen's and Fred Meyer on a search for some last minute toiletries. I picked up some dryer sheets (to keep everything in my pack smelling fresh), Shout travel wipes (to get out stains), mini tweezers, eye makeup remover sheets (I cut each sheet into 14 smaller sheets to last longer since I don't wear much makeup), eye makeup, waterproof mascara and some other toiletry items.

The thing I'm most excited about is finding motion sickness pills. At Target, I couldn't find Dramamine so I asked the pharmacist and he pointed me in the right direction. All I could find was the 8 pill tube for about $3 and they didn't have the Less Drowsy Dramamine. I asked the pharmacist if they had the Less Drowsy in a larger pack and he turned around and pulled a container off the shelf and gave it to me. It was Rugby, not Dramamine, but it was the exact same formula as the Less Drowsy Dramamine but so much cheaper: it was $4.88 for 100 pills! So great! Thanks pharmacist from Target for hooking me up! Now I won't get as seasick and carsick on my trip and it will be so much more enjoyable! Yippee!

I had a dream last night that I hadn't bought a Eurail Pass and I was in Europe, paying for everything full price and seeing how much I could have saved. I'm sure it was because I spent yesterday picking up last minute things before it got to be last minute and a Eurail Pass was one thing I've been saving for last minute. It made me realize how much I still have to do that I've been putting off. Yikes! I've done so much already but have so much more to do.
